BtoB Releases New Teaser Photos for Upcoming Comeback

Boy group BtoB will be returning with their seventh mini album, I Mean. On October 1, BtoB released a surprise teaser image for their official social media accounts to announce their comeback with the mini album. The seven-member boy group's title track from their upcoming mini album will be another ballad track, perfect for the fall season. The group's latest album, their first full-length album Complete was released in June of this year.

BtoB's I Mean will be released on October 12.

Her grandmother was a shaman so from a young age, she's been able to occasionally see ghosts, though it's not until she meets the lascivious ghost that she gets possessed totally.

Sun Woo is a conceited star chef who's overflowing with confidence in his food and his skills. Bong Sun harbors a secret crush on him, though he doesn't take much notice of her for two reasons: because he's always surrounded by women and because he's hung up on an old flame. But then one day, Bong Sun starts acting differently, shedding her mousy personality, and ends up constantly on Sun Woo's mind.

EXO's D.O and Kim So Hyun Confirmed for Melodrama Film

The cast for director Lee Eun Hee's upcoming film Pure Love has been officially announced. EXO's D.O, Kim So Hyun, David Lee, Yeon Joon Seok, Joo Da Young, and more have been confirmed to star in the movie. The filming will start this summer and the movie is scheduled to be released next spring. Pure Love will have people reminiscing about their first love stories as they listen to love stories on the radio. During a live broadcast, a radio DJ receives a letter that shares stories from a fishing village 23 years ago.

D.O and Kim So Hyun will portray the main characters and enact a pure love story. David Lee from KBS's Who Are You, Yeon Joon Seok from MBC's Make a Wish, and Joo Da Young from KBS's Masked Prosecutor will play supporting roles. Many are looking forward to seeing how the actors pull off the regional dialect. This film will be director Lee Eun Hee's first full-length feature film. Filming will take place in Goheung County in Jeollanam-do Province.

Sorry this is quite late coming, but I never really intended to do a post on this. However, I have pretty much run out of ideas on what to write about. Unless another news bulletin comes out, the next post will be the 3rd week of May's moments. So anyway, here is the dramas I'm looking forward to this May.

Warm and Cozy

Airs: May 13, 2015

Baek Geon Woo, a man that has everything that a women wants in a man: good looks, eloquence, and a gentle manner. Although he's the grasshopper type who only does things he wants to do, his honest personality is his charm. A clever man who knows his assets, he is unexpectedly innocent, opening a restaurant in Jeju Island just because the woman he likes is there.

Lee Jung Joo, a woman who has struggled and worked hard all her life but never has a break, resulting in exasperation. She plays the grouchy ant in the fable. She puts up a front of confidence and pride but is actually weak and delicate. Never missing a day of work during the 5 years at her company, she starts a new life in Jeju Island after losing her job, house, and boyfriend in Seoul.

The two meet at Jeju Island.

Upcoming KBS fantasy romance drama Orange Marmalade has released a new preview video for its first episode, as well as stills of its leading actress, Seolhyun of AOA. In the preview video, Seolhyun's character inner torment of being a vampire is depicted, as well as Yeo Jin Goo's character gradually developing feelings for her. It also hints at conflict, as Lee Jong Hyun's character seems to want to disrupt the budding relationship between the two.

Lee Jong Suk, Park Shin Hye and More Attend Chanel Cruise Show in Seoul

Actors Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye attended french fashion house Chanel's latest cruise show, which was staged at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul on May 4. For the collection, creative director Karl Lagerfeld drew inspiration from the hanbok, traditional South Korean dress. Jackets and dresses with wide multi-coloured sleeves were reminiscent of the jeogori, the upper garment of the hanbok. The models' black braided wigs and use of floral embroidery and materials like mother of pearl to decorate accessories nodded to the sartorial zeitgeist of the Joseon dynasty.

According to reports, the actors and staff members were concerned on the day before their shoot was scheduled because of bad weather. However, on the afternoon of the shoot, the sun came out. They therefore considered this a good omen for the drama.

As a psychologist with expertise in clinical neuropsychology, Anabel Enriquez shares that "it was impossible not to get emotionally involved."

The Girl Who Sees Smells

Formerly known as Sensory Couple, albeit, rather briefly, starts off the month. Based on a web comic of the same name, The Girl Who Sees Smells stars Park Yoochun as Choi Moo Gak as a detective who has lost some of his senses (like taste, smell, but also is unable to feel pain) due to being a victim in a murder crime three years prior, called the Barcode Murder Case. But Moo Gak lost more than his senses in that incident, as his younger sister Eun Seol (Kim So Hyun) is believed to have died in the incident. Enter Oh Cho Rim (Shin Se Kyung), the sole witness to the murder case. As Moo Gak investigates the case further, he will need Cho Rim's help, but she's lost her memory of the incident and has become a girl who can see smells.

On March 23, KBS2TV's Orange Marmalade revealed stills of Yeo Jin Goo, who will be playing the role of Jung Jae Min, and Seolhyun, who will be playing Baek Ma Ri, as they shoot the scene where their characters first meet.

In the photos, the chemistry of the two actors look genuine and easy, heightening expectations. In particular, the same-age actors seem to be having a great time with each other even when the cameras are turned off.
